Military Riflescopes — Clone-Correct Optics for Precision and Special Operations Builds
The scope defines the mission. On a Mk12 SPR, it's a Nightforce NXS 2.5–10×24 or a Leupold Mark 4 TS30-A2 — the optics that went to Afghanistan and Iraq with SEAL snipers and designated marksmen. On an M4A1 SOPMOD, it's an Aimpoint M4 or EOTech 553. The right scope is as important to a correct military clone build as the right barrel, and CCC has been sourcing them correctly since 2017.
Precision and DMR Platforms
The Mk12 SPR program standardized on Nightforce and Leupold fixed-power optics for designated marksman roles — scopes optimized for the 5.56 platform at 300–600 meter engagements. The XM2010, Mk13 Mod 7, and Barrett Mk22 require the glass that was actually issued with these platforms. CCC sources Schmidt & Bender, Nightforce, and Leupold optics with the specific configurations the military selected — not approximations from the commercial catalog.
What You Should Know
Correct military clone optics often require specific ring heights and base configurations. A Schmidt & Bender M8541 on an Mk13 requires the correct scope base for the AICS stock the rifle uses. Nightforce NXS 2.5–10×24 on a Mk12 requires the correct Badger Ordnance or Leupold Mk4 rings. CCC can advise on the complete optics package — scope, rings, base — for any of the platforms we build. Getting the mounting hardware right is as important as getting the scope right.
For clone-correct optic selection, CCC is the source. We've been speccing glass for military builds since 2017 — tell us your platform and we'll put the right optic on it.
