Nightforce Compact NXS 2.5–10×24mm — Limited Release | The SEAL SPR Program Scope
This is not a production scope you can order through a distributor. The Nightforce NXS 2.5–10×24mm limited release was designed for the U.S. Navy SEAL Special Purpose Rifle (SPR) program, and Charlie's has secured a supply through a special arrangement with Nightforce. For Mk12 clone builders who need the correct optic, this is the optic — the one that actually went to war on SPR rifles in the hands of NSW operators.
The NXS and the SPR Program
The Navy SEALs' SPR program in the early 2000s produced the Mk12 Mod 0 and Mod 1 — precision DMR rifles built on the AR platform for ranges out to 600 meters. The SEALs needed an optic that could deliver precision at those distances in a compact package that didn't add significant weight to an already-accessorized rifle. The Nightforce NXS 2.5–10×24mm was that optic: compact, proven, military-robust, and optically excellent for the caliber and distances involved.
The NXS family has been in continuous military service for decades. The 2.5–10×24 specifically is valued for its combination of low-end magnification (useful in CQB) and the 10× top end that enables precision work at distance. For a Mk12 clone, there is one correct answer for optics — this scope is it. CCC secured this limited release specifically for the clone community, because we understand that getting it right matters.
What You Should Know Before Buying
This is a limited-release item — once CCC's allocation is sold, availability is uncertain. The NXS 2.5–10×24 requires appropriate rings for Mk12 builds; correct rings are the Badger Ordnance USMC rings or the LeupoldMk4 rings, depending on your Mod 0 vs. Mod 1 configuration. Confirm your configuration with CCC at time of order.
