Suppressors — Military-Correct Configurations, NFA Guidance Included
A suppressor is the most transformative accessory you can add to a military clone build — and for clone builders, it's also a correctness issue. The KAC NT4 on a SOPMOD Block 2 M4A1, the KAC QDC on a Mk12 SPR, the Griffin M110 on an M110 SASS — these are not interchangeable. CCC stocks the correct suppressors for the correct platforms, and the team knows which suppressor belongs on which build.
The NFA Process — Simplified
Suppressors are National Firearms Act items requiring a Form 4 transfer and registration with the ATF. The process involves completing ATF Form 4, submitting fingerprints and a passport photo, and waiting for approval. As of January 1, 2026, the $200 NFA tax stamp fee has been eliminated — the paperwork process remains, but the cost barrier is gone. CCC will walk you through the process with every suppressor purchase.
What CCC Carries
Knights Armament NT4 — the SOPMOD Block 2 suppressor, correct for M4A1 configurations used by Army special operations. Knights Armament QDC — lighter, used on Mk12 and Mk11 configurations. Griffin Armament M110K1 — the SOCOM-contract suppressor for M110 SASS and Mk11 platforms. CCC sources these because they are the correct suppressors for the configurations we build — not because they are the easiest to stock.
Clone Correctness for Suppressors
The right suppressor for your clone depends on which unit, which year, and which configuration you're referencing. A 2003 Ranger Regiment M4A1 used the KAC NT4. A 2007 SEAL Team M4A1 may have used a different unit-sourced can. CCC knows these distinctions — since 2017, we have been the resource for builders who want to get the suppressor right.
For suppressor selection guidance or help with the NFA process, contact CCC before purchasing. We will make sure you get the right can for your build and the right paperwork path for your state.
