If you are here, you know that Charlie's has a deep appreciation for Geissele products.  And, why do a mix and match and create a kit?  We made all the hard choices.  Because not every Super Duty rifle is made for the same shooter, so we give you a choice.

Yes, a Charlie's exclusive, assembled by the gunsmiths at Potomac Armory, and built just for you.  

The Super Duty Rifle from Potomac Armory features many of the same great ingredients of the Geissele Super Duty Rifle, and uses a different rail foundation.  The Mk8 rail system is a classic, and provides a solid MLOK foundation with T-engraved Picatinny full length top rail system.  Very similar building blocks, but with its own aggressive personality  If you prefer the Geissele factory DDC rifle in 14.5"  click the link

Charlie's Super Duty Rife is built upon a solid foundation of a Geissele Super Duty DDC matched pair factory receiver set, a Geissele SSA-E classic 2-stage trigger, the Maritime bolt catch, a choice of three Surefire muzzle devices. The Super Duty receivers are precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and features mil-spec parts kit upgraded with  Geissele’s Maritime bolt catch and a Magpul grip and extended trigger guard. 

Standard is the Geissele 2-stage SSA-E trigger.  The SSA-E trigger is Geissele's flagship 2-stage match grade trigger with wire EDM cut sears. 

We have chosen the 14.5" military grade barrel with chrome lined phosphate barrel in 1:7 twist, chambered in 5.56 NATO with a Geissele stainless steel bomb-proof installed gas block, both drilled and pined was well as set screwed in-place with a mil-spec Remcon high pressure mid-length gas tube for extra easy shooting with the best blend of military grade barrel and Super Duty performance.  A high quality military grade 6-position mil-spec buffer tube with a Super-42 in H1 buffer ensures this rifle is properly tuned out of the box.  We are currently sourcing both FN and Daniel Defense barrels with mid-length gas systems and Daniel Defense and Colt with carbine length gas systems.  Mostly, this is a matter of which barrels are available at the time of construction.  You should consult our sales team for further questions about barrel selection and wait times.

You will have your choice of Surefire muzzle devices:  The high performance three-prong SOCOM Warcomp;  The classic SOCOM close tine, the more traditional SOCOM 3-prong, or the Fast Attach 4-prong 215A.  This allows you a great selection of personalization.  The Warcomp provides the latest is brake and muzzle flash suppression.  The classic Closed Tine has a elegant but lethal disposition like a more open A2 style.  And, the original 4-Prong model FH556-215A is offered for those who just must have a 4-prong flash hider.  The Warcomp, standard 3-prong and Closed tine flash hiders will accommodate the current production SOCOM RC and RC2 full sized and mini suppressors, as well as the Surefire Warden blast director and Surefire training inert suppressors; while the 215A model can host the legacy line of fast attach Surefire suppressors.

Rounding up the package is a 13.5" Mk8 Super Modular Rail The Super Modular Rail family of rails are renowned by operators for their performance and comfort. An Airborne Charging Handle ensures smooth and reliable operation.  The Mk8 rail is notable in having an integrated QD mount near the mating of the upper receiver and the rail, both at 3:00 and and 9:00.  The Mk8 has proven itself as solid construction, having M-LOK features, and more compact than the Mk4 rail, and having a Picatinny 1913 rail only on the top.  The Mk16 rail, which is used by US Special Forces is a tad thinner.  The Mk8 rail is a solid intermediate rail between the larger M4 rail with multiple 1913 attachment points, and the Mk16 with an ultra thin M-LOK pattern and no integrated QD slot.

A B5 Coyote 6-position SOPMOD stock is held in place with a Daniel Defense forged hard coated black anodized buffer extension tube and Geissele Airborne military charging handle finish off this high-end rifle that offers the user unmatched accuracy and performance, and your personalization with the selection of Surefire muzzle devices

While a magazine shows in some pictures, no magazine will be shipped to states that restrict magazine capacities.  No sights are included.

A note on DDC:  The Geissele DDC color varies widely from one batch to another. Generally speaking is it a more golden FDE color, but can also show browns and greens in the finish.

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. This item must ship to FFL holder. No civilian exceptions.

       1)  Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state.

       2)  Find your FFL… Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL to Charlie’s (Make them earn their fee!!!)

       3)  Be patient! You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.
