The CompM5 with LRP mount is a high performance red dot reflex sight built for the US Government and now available to civilians. The CompM5 builds upon the heritage of the CompM2/M4 family of M68 sights and the features of the T2 Micro, all in a solid platform that works with Aimpoint 3x and 6x flip-over magnifiers and is night vision compatible.
The CompM5 allows for unlimited eye relief and is compatible with Aimpoint 3XMag-1 and 6XMag-1 magnifiers, as well as all generations of Night Vision Devices (NVD).
The battery life for the CompM5 is over 5 years of continuous use while at the position 7, more than 1 year of use at position 8, and more than 10 years at NVD settings (positions 1 to 4).
The Aimpoint CompM5 is a compact, lightweight, and extremely rugged red dot optic in the Comp™ series of sights.
The CompM5™ red dot sight was designed to take up minimal space on the weapon platform while still offering extreme ruggedness and durability. New innovative lenses with enhanced reflective coatings, radically improve the shape of the 2 MOA dot. This makes this optic match perfectly with the 3XMag-1 and 6XMag-1 magnifiers. This is the standard configuration of the CompM5 which contains the sight, an LRP mount and a 39 mm spacer. The sight is also equipped with flip-up lens covers, the front lens cover is black and the rear transparent. The CompM5 sight has a high battery compartment, while the CompM5s™ has a low battery compartment.
