Charlie's is a stickler for value, and not every good rifle has to cost $2,000. Stag has been making fine firearms and parts for decades, and their workmanship shows in this rifle. Pretty much the same as a Colt or FN M4 at a fraction of the price.
The Stag 15 M4 rifle is chambered in 5.56 NATO and built around a 16" barrel with a 1/7 twist rate with an M4 / Government profile and carbine gas system. Stag uses a military spec M16 bolt carrier group, standard M4 polymer handguard and A2 "F height" front sight base. These rifles have an A2 Flash Hider to reduce muzzle flash, solid military grade CMV 4150 steel with a milspec phosphate exterior barrel, A2 grip and M4 waffle stock with 6 adjustable positions.
The M4 rifle includes a traditional A2 bolt-on carry handle, which is a nice extra touch that is not often found in a rifle at this modest price point.
Receivers are forged from 7075 military grade aluminum and finished with Type 3 hard coat black anodizing. Lower parts are milspec Stag with a single stage trigger. Bolt carrier is 8620 tool grade steel and a C-158 MPI tested bolt.
