Geissele Mk18 10.3" CQBR URGI Upper Receiver Group

This is a "near-clone" offering, which means Geissele starts with a military URGI / CQBR, and makes some commercial modifications

The Geissele near-clone 10.3" Mk18 style CQBR Upper Receiver Group, Improved is a commercial interpretation of the military version with some substitutions and some commercial upgrades.  Originally released in 2018, Geissele has updated the offering in 2022.  Geissele is now including their REBCG with this upper, as well as their bomb-proof factory installed and pinned gas block.  While not military correct, a great upgrade.

Your choice of the Surefire 4-prong flash hider, or other Surefire or mil-spec muzzle devices available.  This is a Geissele assembled and factory boxed product.  Charlie's installs the flash hider only.

Each URGI is fitted with the handguard Geissele designed specifically for USASOC, the MK 16 M-LOK™ Super Modular Rail handguard with a full-length Picatinny top rail and lots of slots for other accessories. T-markings are engraved on the rail but not painted white to help keep the rifle unobtrusive.

  • Geissele Airborne (military version with roll-marks) DDC charging handle
  • Geissele Super Gas Block, black nitrided and pinned by Geissele "bomb proof" installation
  • Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group - REBCG M16 style with DLC coating
  • Geissele Super 42 braided wire carbine spring and Geissele branded H-3 buffer
  • Surefire SOCOM 4-prong flash hider or the Surefire SOCOM 3-prong WarComp (un-pinned), as well as other popular choices*

Note:  if you select WarComp, we time this as neutral (ports pointed up).  If you want it timed to the starboard side, please make sure to put that in the comments.  Both are correct.  Our gunsmiths prefer ports timed up.

* some muzzle device selections listed are no longer offered, like the Knights Armament NT4, Surefire 411-A and BE Meyers

NFA warning:  The Stripped URGI upper receiver group without the pinned flash hider does not meet the 16" minimum barrel length requirement, and requires registration and a tax stamp with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) when assembled into a complete rifle.  Please make sure you fully understand NFA and local laws.
