This complete upper chambered in 5.56mm features an M4 receiver with a forward assist, dust cover, M4 feed ramps, houses a Geissele Bolt Carrier Group, and features bomb-proof installation of our Super Compact Gas Block, to ensure reliability and proper operation.

The handguard is a version of our MK16 Super Modular Rail currently fielded by USASOC and renowned by operators for their performance and comfort.

Charlie's brings you a choice of Geissele bolt carrier groups:  Choose the military grade Geissele contracted M16 bolt carrier group, manufactured for Geissele by a military contract provider of BCGs to many military M4 and M16 rifles, or choose the upgraded Geissele REBCG.

The military grade M16 BCG is time tested chrome lined and exterior phosphated and found in many US military weapons.  The components of this bolt carrier group has been stress treated and is designed for durability. The carrier is machined from AISI 8620 aircraft quality steel with an M16 full auto profile with a phoshate coating. The bolt is made from Carpenter 158 steel alloy and has been magnetic particle inspected and high pressure tested, which is what you would expect from an ultra premium mil spec BCG.  Every part has been made to the highest standard and inspected to prevent premature failure. The gas key is 4130 Chrome-Moly steel and has grade eight properly staked hex screws.

The Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. This Nanoweapon coated BCG features a properly torqued and staked, chrome lined gas key. The Cam Pin is machined from advanced, medical steel known as H13 which is also coated with Nanoweapon for maximum corrosion and wear resistance. The Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group also features extended upper rails, providing greater stability and dramatically increasing feeding reliability.

The Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group comes with the Geissele Stressproof Bolt. Made from Carpenter 158+, directly developed with Carpenter Steel metallurgists to create a material that is cleaner and has less impurities. This makes our Stressproof bolt stronger and more fatigue resistant. The Geissele Stressproof bolt is also forged, not machined from barstock. This allows us to optimize the grain structure of the steel to yield a bolt capable of 5 times the life of a mil-spec bolt. Each bolt is rigorously inspected, high pressure tested, mag particle inspected and Nanoweapon coated.
