Colt tactical front sling, side swivel mount

The Colt tactical front sling side swivel mount (P/N SPR6106SVL) — the genuine Colt factory part used on M4 carbines to provide a forward sling attachment point.

  • Genuine Colt factory part: sourced from Colt distributors and as new take-offs from Colt rifles
  • Steel two-piece clamp: mounts between the barrel bands of a standard A-frame front sight base on 0.750" barrels
  • Rubber-coated swivel: eliminates sling noise and abrasion against the barrel

This clamp-on sling swivel mounts at the right or left side of the weapon, between the barrel bands of the mil-spec front sight housing. It fits AR-15/M4 barrels with an A-frame front sight base and a 0.750" gas block journal. It does not fit thin-profile barrels or A1 USGI barrels. New Colt-packaged parts require riveting the sling loop to the clamp; new take-offs ship with the rivet already installed.
