Tubeless construction for reduced weight paired with rock solid Dual-Lok mounting.

"Ounces equal pounds." We've all heard this before. The place that weight matters the most on your rifle is the muzzle. A heavy weight at the muzzle makes the weapon seem less balanced and hurts handling. A tubeless suppressor design sheds those ounces where they have the most effect. Griffin has been a name brand in the suppressor world before suppressors became mainstream, and have been a pioneer of tubeless silencers on the US market. Griffin utilizes the DUAL-LOK active retention system with this suppressor, an often time demanded feature by government customers. This combined with generations of R&D brought a lightweight, highly durable, low flash, and top-performing suppressor to market.

Highlights

  • Laser welded tubeless design trims weight without sacrificing durability
  • Compact and lightweight at just 12.6 oz yet durable enough for sustained full-auto fire
  • Patent pending Dual-Lok mounting system for rock-solid attachment and minimal POI shift
  • ECO-Flow patented baffle system reduces backpressure and blowback
  • Full-Auto Rated up to 300 PRC - Can withstand intense firing schedules on rifles up to .300 PRC caliber

The tubeless design allows for less weight and more volume, translating into a quieter silencer than many others in the class. The baffles are laser-welded, preventing human error during the manufacturing process.

The Dual-Lok system is integrated into the silencer body to provide maximum accuracy and enhance durability. A precision taper interface between the muzzle device and mount keeps POI shift consistent and repeatable.

As Austin Green, Lead Design Engineer at Griffin Armament, describes the development of the DUAL-LOK suppressor:

I spent several months very focused on this project with our production managers and technicians making small changes to the baffle system, cutting the prototype parts, welding prototypes, then testing through our B&K pulse system, and repeating this cycle over and over and over.  I wanted the absolute best sound and flash performance in the smallest size possible.  Our team achieved it. I have never made so many prototypes for one series in the last 17 years as I did with the DUAL-LOK cans. Bringing together sound and flash performance, while retaining accuracy and durability in a package this small; we haven’t done it before. This little can has some of the best flash performance of any in our line, regardless of its size.  I’m really proud of what our team did here.

At the heart of the DUAL-LOK 7 is the ECO-FLOW flow-through vented baffle architecture, which strikes abalance between signature reduction and reduced blowback. This innovative design minimizes the amount of gas directed towards the shooter, reducing the sound attenuation at the shooter's ears while also decreasing backpressure. Reduced backpressure translates to increased reliability, allowing for extended shooting sessions without the need for frequent tuning or adjustments.

Incorporating Griffin's hallmark tubeless design, first introduced in 2010, the DUAL-LOK 7 achieves a remarkably lightweight construction. Weighing just 12.6 ounces, this 7-inch .308 suppressor is incredibly lightweight for its size, despite being constructed from durable 718 Inconel and 17-4 stainless steel. This rugged construction ensures the DUAL-LOK 7 can handle intense firing schedules, with a full-auto rating and no barrel length restrictions up to the powerful 300 PRC caliber.

The DUAL-LOK suppressor series earns its name from Griffin Armament's proprietary mounting system. The DUAL-LOK locking collar engages anti-rotational grooves on the muzzle device with three locking splines, ensuring the suppressor remains securely locked in place during firing. After a demanding day at the range or on the hunt, the suppressor can be easily removed. Additionally, the DUAL-LOK silencers are affixed to the precision taper mount with ACME threads, providing repeatable point-of-impact (POI) performance. Once zeroed, no further adjustments are necessary.

Designed with no wear points, the DUAL-LOK mounting system requires no disassembly or maintenance from the end user, adding to the overall convenience and reliability of this suppressor.

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. This item must ship to FFL holder. No civilian exceptions.

1) Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state.

2) Find your FFL… Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL and SOT to Charlie’s (Make them earn their fee!). Not every FFL is a SOT or Class 2 / Class 3 dealer.

3) Be patient! You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.

That’s it! We try to make this process as simple as possible for our customers. Please click the “Buying a Firearm” tab at the top of this page for more information.

THIS IS A SERIALIZED ITEM.  It must ship to a Federal Firearms License holder.  No civilian exceptions.

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. Only a federally licensed firearms dealer may receive a firearm or federally regulated serialized item (like a receiver or suppressor). We cannot ship these items directly to you. Please follow these steps to process your transaction:

1)     Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state. Your FFL dealer should be able to give you all of the necessary information regarding your state specific laws. But, if we ship to your FFL, and there is a legal issue, we cannot accept a return. So please make sure that you know and follow your local and state laws.

2)     A quick google search will show you what Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealers are in your area. When you are ready to purchase, contact the FFL dealer you would like to use and get their shipping address. During the check-out, put YOUR address in the “billing” section and the FFL DEALER’S address in the “shipping” section. If you don’t know your FFLs address, that’s okay. You can send the information later.

3)     After check out, make sure to contact your FFL dealer to ensure they will receive your shipment for you (most do this for a small fee, but you should always double check).

4)     Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL to FFL@CharliesCustomClones.com. Charlie’s does not reach to your FFL (MAKE THEM EARN THEIR FEE!!!)

5)     Be patient! In order to ensure we remain compliant with all federal laws, our compliance department is kept separate from our sales and operations team. Please allow a few days for our compliance officer to verify all of your dealer’s documents and ensure all federal laws are being observed. You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.

That’s it! We try to make this process as simple as possible for our customers, but if you are unfamiliar the process or have any other questions, please visit our How to Buy a Suppressor page for more details.
