Yes, too many Mark's for one line. The rail is the Mk16 rail in medium length for a carbine gas system to support the Mk18 weapons system, also known as the CQBR Block 2 URGI. Now that you have digested that, the Mk16 rail is a 10.5" length in DDC and is designed for an 11.5" or longer barrel. Ideally, the Mk18 CQBR has the 11.5" barrel, but this will also go nicely with a 12.5" barrel.
The Mk16 is the latest evolution in Geissele's Super Modular Rail. It is based upon the Mk14, but then adds upper tabs to lock-in the alignment between the upper receiver and the rail, and is US military issue. To fit the US military requirement, the upper rail is T-engraved, but no paint. The Geissele brand is roll marked on the rail, and the rail will come with either an NSN number or Geissele model number.
This is the same rail that is found on the new Mk18 Mod 3 or what the Army calls the Close Quarter Battle Receiver, Upper Receiver Group Improved, in Geissele anodized DDC.
