Colt M16/M4/AR15 current issue flash hider compensator, five slot, threaded 1/2x28, closed at the bottom to prevent dust signature when firing prone. Charlie's receives barrels with flash hiders installed and removes the flash hiders. Some are take-offs from new rifles, so will have been test fired only.
Nothing beats an original Colt factory part. Just understand that Colt builds for military weapons, and you can expect military handling. It is a flash hider, after all.
