This Badger Ordnance moun has a 30mm tube diameter and sits 1.70 inches high with, 0 MOA cant.  The Condition One Modular Mount (C.O.M.M.) is designed to maximize the space on rifle platforms and act as a hub for attachments. It's made from 7075-T6 aluminum Type III Hard Coat Anodized in black. The 1.70 inch mount is a good choice for shooters who prefer lower 1/3rd red dot optics and want commonality with their Low Power Variable Optics.

The C1 Modular Mount is Badger Ordnance’s answer to a growing demand for modularity in optical platform mounting. With the ever-expanding options available to shooters in the accessory and electro-optic markets, Badger Ordnance saw the need for a mount that can make the most use of precious real estate on rifle platforms while acting as a centralized hub for attachments and not suffering from deflection seen on optics and lasers attached to handguards.

The 1.70" height has been especially popular for the Condition One mount, allowing for some night vision, or a PEQ type illuminator.  The 30mm mount at 1.70" is ideal for mounting a LPVO, like the Nightforce NX8 1-8x or Vortex Razor HD-E 1-6x.  While the normal height for an AR / M4 platform is considered to be 1.50", the extra height is better suited for tactical point and shoot, when the operator may not have his or her cheek down on the stock.

The C1 Modular Mount offers the end user four accessory mounting points on the Unimount body both left, right, fore, and aft to suit a wide range of shooter’s needs. Unlike traditional ring cap accessories, the C1 accessories can be located in the same height and offset throughout various main mount heights giving the shooter a more consistent offset throughout models.
