Allen Engineering
The 6315AE and 6310AE muzzle devices represent a collaboration between Allen Engineering and Forward Controls Design. Introduced in 2017, these designs build upon the TDP A2 compensator platform. These variants are built for the AEM series of suppressors, with the 6310AE notably being the first flash suppressor designed specifically for Allen Engineering .30-caliber suppressors.
Both models feature purposeful evolutions of the military TDP A2 compensator design, i.e. the A2 design. Their modified port configurations include reduced-size ports at 3 and 9 o'clock positions, directing more gas through the top three ports for improved muzzle control. The internal groove design helps contain flash within the cone cavity, enhancing overall flash suppression capabilities.
You know and love what Allen Engineering has done for the clone rifle suppressor market, and their brake is legendary. But, let's face it, sometimes you just want a flash hider. Perhaps you are building from a Colt M4 rifle, and you picked up one of the Colt M4 collars. Make something different. Make Your Clone Your Own. And... If you follow Forward Controls, you know that their quality, and their deign is about function and simplicity and not fluff. This is what happens when two great brands collaborate with what they do best !!
Installation for both models is straightforward using either a standard AR-15/M16 armorer's wrench or 3/4" wrench, thanks to the incorporated wrench flats.
Note: Shims are required for proper timing.
