Well, to be fair, ARMS called us up and told us they had an old batch of gray, but it is more of a dark taupe / FDE to me. Clearly some brown hints.
The #22 Tactical Ring Rail allows mounting of devices to the top of your scope ring. The #22 TRR™ provides a very useful additional mounting base to scoped rifles on which to mount equipment such as lights, lasers or auxiliary sighting devices. The TRR requires the use of the #22™ Tactical Ring Cap to attach to the rings. The TRC replaces the factory ring cap, and the TRR screws into the TRC.
The gray version was produced in the early 2000s as a special requirement for the US Navy. This is a contract over-run, very limited number available.
The #22 Rings with the TRC and TRR were commonly found on the Mk12 SPR rifle, along with the Leupold Mark 4 on the Mod 0 and the Nightforce NXS on the Mod1.
