Sig Sauer TANGO6T 1-6x24 FDE Military LPVO with FL-6 Hellfire Illuminated Reticle

The Hellfire illuminated reticle makes for easy target identification with both eyes open at 1x and then also at 6x magnification.  Selected by the U.S. Army for both the Squad Designated Marksman Rifle System and for U.S. Special Forces, the TANGO6T is available in the commercial market.  The Tango6T is the US Army's preferred 2nd focal plane LPVO.  The Tango6T is tan or FDE, and includes mounting lines.

Originally, the US Military awarded Sig the contract for the Squad Designated Marksman or SDMR rifle, with the Tango6T mounted to the HK416, or Mk27 rifle.  This scope is the latest contact for the Squad Variable Power Scope (SVPS).  The SDMR and SVPS share a common full length 30mm tube.

Designed for the modern sporting rifle, this scope is the ideal solution for CQB / mid-range tactical engagements, 3 Gun competitions and hunting. The TANGO6T is complete with Sig's HDX optical system for extreme clarity and low-light performance, HellFire fiber optic and glass-etched illuminated reticle in second focal plane.

Includes capped turrets, as most low power variable optics are sighted in, and then the shooter uses the reticle for hold-overs, as opposed to dial-ins for longer distances.  With a 30mm tube, the mounting possibilities are quite versatile.

The FL-6 second focal plane reticle is calibrated for M855 5.56mm ammo.  The reticle provides range estimating capability by using horizontal bars, equivalent to 20" targets at 400, 500, 600 and 700 meters, when zeroed at 300 meters.  Horizontal stadia provide hold-overs for moving targets at various speeds.
