Essentially, this is the First Focal Plane version of the SOCOM military scope.  Product SOT61231

The Horseshoe reticle is ideal for close engagements, and through the effective range of this scope, most 5.56mm and also 7.62mm ammunition has very similar ballistic characteristics, so on BDC type reticle will work well for either caliber.
