The Q Shorty is a derivative of the stock originally designed for Q's Honey Badger SBR — a platform that built a cult following for its compact, PDW-style form factor. The original Honey Badger stock was machined specifically for the Honey Badger's proprietary receiver contour, which meant it could not be retrofitted to standard AR lowers. The Shorty solves that by redesigning the interface to fit any mil-spec receiver, bringing the Honey Badger's signature collapsed profile to the broader AR-15 platform.
The stock operates on two positions: fully collapsed and fully extended. A textured back plate provides a stable point of contact against the shoulder, and a generous cheek weld area accommodates optic-height sight lines. An integrated QD sling point allows direct sling attachment without additional hardware. The included 3 oz buffer is rated for 5.56 NATO and .300 Blackout; a heavier 9mm buffer is available separately for PCC builds. Total weight with spring and buffer is 14.5 ounces.
