The NT4 flash hider is Knight's Armament's three-prong muzzle device and the QD interface for the KAC NT4 QDC suppressor family — the correct muzzle device for a clone-correct Mk18 Mod 1, Block II M4A1, or any Knight's-equipped SOF carbine from the GWOT era onward. Threaded 1/2x28 for standard 5.56mm AR barrels.
Machined from heat-treated stainless steel with a manganese-phosphate finish, the NT4 runs three open tines to break up muzzle flash signature while delivering the locking surfaces and timing shoulder required to mount a Knight's NT4 QDC suppressor. The three-prong geometry is the same pattern issued with Mk18 upper receiver groups and Block II M4A1 carbines in U.S. SOF service.
Torque to 15-20 ft-lbs over a crush washer or peel washers to time correctly. Compatible with any 1/2x28-threaded 5.56 barrel — M4A1 14.5-inch, Mk18 10.3-inch, and standard 16-inch AR builds. Required hardware for any Mk18 clone build aiming for correctness at the muzzle end.
