Magpul has been a leading manufacturer of weapon accessories for many years. They developed the M-LOK system to provide a lighter alternative to Picatinny rails. While this negative space hard point mounting allows for many direct attach accessories, many users have legacy Picatinny rail accessories. For these users, Magpul makes small sections of Picatinny rail to facilitate mounting by adding rail where necessary without cluttering today's sleeker handguards.
While some parts can be mounted to the lighter weight polymer panels, things such as vertical grips, bipods, and sling mounts can benefit from sturdier aluminum. For these uses, Magpul Aluminum M-LOK rail sections are the ticket. They are machined from aluminum, Mil-Spec anodized, and have beveled ends to reduce sharp edges and snagging. These are compatible with both aluminum and polymer M-LOK handguards and forends. Hardware is included.
