Harris Bipods are a battle proven item found on many military rifles in the Afghanistan and Iraq theaters. Harris Engineering produces a number of great bipods, but this is the one that Charlie's recommends.
This Harris bipod features a swivel, and is lightweight and durable. The quick detachable mount allow for connection to any available sling swivel stud on bolt action or modern sporting rifles. The bipod stows conveniently out of the way when not in use, folding toward the muzzle. Stowed legs are kept firmly in place by sturdy spring returns.

Notched legs allow height adjustments from 6 to 9 inches. Adjustments are locked in at 1 inch intervals and released by the push of a button on each leg. Tension adjustment in the base eliminates any unwanted slack.
Mounts to QD swivel studs on bolt action and single-shot rifles for ultimate field accuracy. Won't change zero; added weight steadies gun. Spring-loaded, telescoping legs adjust quickly, fold parallel to barrel for carrying.
Add a Picitinny mount, like the ARMS #32 throw-lever mount used by US Special Forces.
