These mounts will fit a variety of scopes, but has been certified for the Leupold Mark 6.  This is a great general purpose mount for most any 34mm tube scope on a long Picatinny rail platform.  The SR25 scope mounts from Geissele differ from the AR15 / M4 mounts in that they have more lugs to hug snug into the Picatinny rail, and are a bit longer.  On an AR15/M4 upper receiver, you would need an extended mount, as the real estate, so to speak, is a lot less on an AR15 mount.  Since the AR10 / SR25 / Scar 17, HK417 receiver is larger, it will support a longer scope mount, and the extra lugs will help with the higher recoil in a Scar 17.
