Colt Green Mountain 20" Match HBAR Blackened 4150 CMV Steel Barrel 1:8-1/2 twist
this is a Green Mountain barrel contracted for Colt for use on the older HBAR and CR6720 rifles, but never put into production
The Green Mountain match barrel features a match crown and are black oxide finished and have a rifle-length gas system. The barrels are Chrome-Moly-Vanadium 4150 steel and are not chrome-lined, which provide for better accuracy, but less resistance to the elements, so regular cleaning and oiling are recommended. Barrels are marked near the muzzle with "G" but do not contain Colt markings or caliber or chambering information. Colt's accurized rifles were good sellers a number of years back, but the line was discontinued, and the barrels were surplus when the production of those rifles ceased. The barrels are in pristine new condition.
