Shooting with tripods is something relatively new in the long range precision shooting realm, as well as hunting. Cadex tripods have the integrated AES ARCA system developed by Cadex, so if you have a rifle with an AES rail, this tripod with work like butter with your Cadex AES system. If you don't, the Cadex tripod also accepts standard ARCA rails and adapters.
The CDX Carbon Fiber Tripod from Cadex features a 55mm ball head able to hold rifles up to 55 lbs. and offers a full 360 degrees of adjustment with a quick-release mount for the rifle. The 40mm legs support a total weight of 110 lbs allowing the shooter to make full use of the counterweight hook to further stabilize the system. Hard anodized aluminum makes up the hardware while the legs are made of 10-layer carbon fiber and have quarter turn leg locks and three position angle settings. The quick-release plate has a standard 3/8X16 mounting screw allowing this tripod to be used for observation, photography, spotting scopes, and shooting. The handle is rubberized and a Cadex logo tan carrying case is padded for secure transport. The ball head is tension adjustable has smooth movement and the Arca-Swiss clamp, 1/4X20 quick-release plate and tooling are included. This is also compatible with the Cadex CDX Arca Elite System.
