The 20 MOA forward cant (5.8 mils) builds elevation into the rail, so your scope zeros near the center of its travel and keeps its adjustment range in reserve for distance. The integral recoil lug locks the rail to the receiver, and a true MIL-STD 1913 slot pattern takes any Picatinny ring or one-piece mount you choose.
