A.R.M.S. Silhouette folding front sight #41 B-L

Imagine your next marksman rifle with a folding front sight post

The A.R.M.S. #41 B-L Folding Front Sight is the go-to choice for those who demand a practical, rugged, and historically accurate front sight on their rifle. Designed to solve the limitations of fixed front sights, the A.R.M.S. #41 B-L flips up when needed and folds down when not, providing maximum versatility for rifles equipped with optics or night vision. Built to military specifications, this front sight ensures reliability and precision in any situation. It's perfect for completing clone builds of classic military rifles like the SAM-R, KAC SR-16 CQB, and even the Mk12 Mod 0 SPR.

Like other ARMS #41 sights, this model has all the familiar and user-friendly folding sight features.  This model has adjustable side set-screws, which make both for user-friendly DYI installation, and adjustable front windage cant.

Product Highlights:

  • Folding design: Spring-loaded mechanism for instant deployment and stowage.
  • Durable construction: Made from high-strength steel for longevity.
  • Adjustable: Screw-on design for windage adjustments as DYI installation
  • Bayonet lug: Retains military-correct functionality for clone builds.
  • Universal fit: Designed for 0.75" barrel journals, compatible with most rifles.
  • Combat-tested: Built to withstand harsh environments, proven in military and law enforcement use.

Historical and Clone Rifle Appeal:

The A.R.M.S. #41 B-L folding front sight evokes the same ingenuity seen in military units that transitioned from fixed to flip-up sights for increased adaptability. The SAM-R, for instance, moved to a Knight’s Armament flip-up sight for greater modularity, and the KAC SR-16 CQB 11.5” used a similar approach for tactical flexibility in close-quarters. Even the Mk12 Mod 0 SPR used the PRI flip-up front sight to ensure that optics wouldn’t be obstructed. These upgrades reflected a shift in how precision and tactical rifles were configured: removing the fixed sight’s bulk and allowing for superior compatibility with modern optics, while keeping an iron sight available as a backup.

Technical Details:

The A.R.M.S. #41 B-L is precision-machined from high-grade steel, ensuring long-lasting durability under the harshest conditions. It uses a spring-loaded folding mechanism for rapid deployment and stows easily when not in use. The sight attaches securely with set screws to a 0.75" barrel journal and features an integrated bayonet lug for those looking to maintain military authenticity. The sight’s mil-spec black finish provides corrosion resistance and matches seamlessly with tactical rifles. The standard front sight post is easily adjustable for elevation, offering precise targeting whether you're at the range or in the field.  The set screws offer the opportunity for fine-tuning windange and to keep the cant at a perfect 0 degrees.

Note:  In the past, ARMS manufactured the #41-BLP, which was pinned in place, but the manufacturer has discontinued making that model.  The story goes that many customers did not realize that they needed a gunsmith or barrel expert to install, and they had a good number of returns.  This model is identical, but has user-friendly side set screws to install, as well as for fine adjustments.
