Machined from a solid billet of T6-7075 aluminum, the SFT9's revolutionary one-piece frame delivers exceptional durability while achieving a remarkably thin 1.155-inch width – a feat that sets new standards for double-stack 1911s.

The SFT9 Commander builds upon John Browning's proven 1911 design while introducing several notable improvements. The single-action trigger system provides exceptional control and accuracy. Unlike traditional Commander models, the SFT9 incorporates Wilson's proprietary TRAK texture on both frontstrap and backstrap, enhancing control during rapid strings of fire. The 4.25" match-grade barrel maintains the original Commander length but utilizes modern manufacturing techniques for superior accuracy and longevity.

Where a standard 1911 Commander typically offers 7-8 round capacity, the SFT9 doubles down with 15+1 rounds of 9mm without significantly impacting concealability. The solid frame design eliminates the flex and potential reliability issues sometimes encountered with modular frames, while strategic lightening cuts keep the weight manageable at 29.8 oz unloaded – comparable to traditional all-steel Commander models.

Wilson Combat's attention to detail shines through in the enhanced feature set: a crisp 3.5-4.5 pound trigger pull, refined Bullet Proof controls, and their battle-proven sight system featuring a red fiber optic front sight. The slide's aggressive serration pattern - 30 LPI top serrations and 40 LPI rear serrations - provides positive manipulation under any conditions. The lowered and flared ejection port and match-grade barrel bushing ensure reliable operation.

This pistol ships with two 15-round magazines and carries Wilson Combat's renowned accuracy guarantee of 1.5" groups at 25 yards.
