Charlie's would not exactly call the Strike Eagle a budget play, but it clearly is a value play. This scope is one of the better scopes for someone staring out in PRS competition, for example. It has many of the features of higher-end scopes, while maintaining a mid-range magnification for shots from 50 to 500 yards, and cutting some of the non-sense out to allow Vortex to make this a popularly priced opitc.
