They've also added elastic keepers that both cover and silence the metal hardware. The pull tab has been textured to give more positive grip. The padding hits the sweet spot. Not so large that it rides up or fails to move with the shooter, but not so little that it feels like an afterthought.
The function of the Wide Padded Upgrade sling remains the same as our most popular slings. For those that asked, VTAC has answered with metal hardware all around and elastic stowage bands to keep excess sling covered. The elastic bands will also help with noise disciple when used with the metal hardware.
Resin treated nylon 1″ ends have metal hardware and elastic stow bands to allow easy mounting and adjustment with increased strength and durability.

The wide padded sling is made with a closed cell foam shoulder strap and a wider surface area to help evenly distribute the weight on your shoulder.
