This is what all the excitement is about for long range precision suppressed shooting.
Crafted with lightweight titanium, the Ultra 7CB Gen 2 weighs a mere 8.0 ounces, which increases its overall maneuverability. In addition, the CB designation refers to Thunder Beast’s compact brake mount, a thread over muzzle brake-type setup, makes for increased versatility. To that end, this unit is ideal for .300 Blackout rifles, so be sure to put it to the test while at the gun range. With the CB mount, the suppressor mates to a conical shoulder on the brake and locks extremely tight. Moreover, via a simple factory service operation, this silencer also has the flexibility to be changed from a CB mount to a direct-thread configuration, just in case you prefer that setup. Needless to say, the Thunder Beast Ultra 7CB Gen 2 offers versatility in a precision and long-range option!
The ULTRA series represents a revolutionary improvement in titanium precision rifle suppressors. Thunder Beast Arms took everything they learned over the last half decade building precision rifle suppressors, and put it into the ULTRA design. The ULTRA series offers unprecedented light weight and class-leading suppression levels.
The Gen 2, launched in late 2020 is both quieter than the original and lighter. You can expect excellent suppression out of this can even though it has a relatively small form factor.
The .30 caliber is the best choice if you want the most flexibility, this allows for calibers from .300 RUM and down. 6.5/.243 optimizes suppression but at the same time limits your variety of options quite a bit. The Ultra 7 Gen 2 meters at 139 dB (milspec left/right) and 129 sB at the shooters ear. This was tested with full power M118LR ammunition out of a 20" barrel on an Accuracy International AX. TBAC now specifies the dB rating as one number because of the consistency of the PULSE system that they use for testing. Compared to the older Gen. suppressors the new version is about 20% lighter.
The CB mount and direct thread mount have equivalent accuracy and repeatability.
With the CB mount, the suppressor mates to a conical shoulder on the brake and locks up rock solid and extremely tight. In direct thread configuration, the ULTRA suppressors use a heat-treated 17-4 thread insert and initial blast shield. Like the original, the Gen2 ULTRA is all-titanium and is fully welded. The Gen. 2 is now a "tubeless" design, with the baffles joined directly with no separate tube. The Ultras were designed to be the "ultimate" lightweight precision rifle suppressor. This means we used materials to meet those goals. Titanium, even Grade 5, is ultimately limited by temperature.
The Ultras are very strong but excursions above 800 degrees are not good for the material. If you take it far enough above 1000 degrees, it will get too weak to sustain the blast and you would eventually get a failure. We recommend keeping the Ultra series less than 800 degrees. TBAC products are well known for being the best in the industry by shooters around the US. There is not anything else that currently competes the suppression level or weight you can expect out of the Ultra series.
Note: Early Gen 2 suppressors were subject to a recall, and those which were, will contain TBAC factory certification that it is free of defect.
Note: Pictures of tan / FDE can be very difficult to accurately reproduce on the Internet due to changes in "white balance." The actual color of this suppressor is a beige / light tan.

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. This item must ship to FFL holder. No civilian exceptions.
1) Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state.
2) Find your FFL… Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL and SOT to Charlie’s (Make them earn their fee!). Not every FFL is a SOT or Class 2 / Class 3 dealer.
3) Be patient! You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.
That’s it! We try to make this process as simple as possible for our customers. Please click the “Buying a Firearm” tab at the top of this page for more information.
THIS IS A SERIALIZED ITEM. It must ship to a Federal Firearms License holder. No civilian exceptions.
Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. Only a federally licensed firearms dealer may receive a firearm or federally regulated serialized item (like a receiver or suppressor). We cannot ship these items directly to you. Please follow these steps to process your transaction:
1) Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state. Your FFL dealer should be able to give you all of the necessary information regarding your state specific laws. But, if we ship to your FFL, and there is a legal issue, we cannot accept a return. So please make sure that you know and follow your local and state laws.
2) A quick google search will show you what Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealers are in your area. When you are ready to purchase, contact the FFL dealer you would like to use and get their shipping address. During the check-out, put YOUR address in the “billing” section and the FFL DEALER’S address in the “shipping” section. If you don’t know your FFLs address, that’s okay. You can send the information later.
3) After check out, make sure to contact your FFL dealer to ensure they will receive your shipment for you (most do this for a small fee, but you should always double check).
4) Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL to FFL@CharliesCustomClones.com. Charlie’s does not reach to your FFL (MAKE THEM EARN THEIR FEE!!!)
5) Be patient! In order to ensure we remain compliant with all federal laws, our compliance department is kept separate from our sales and operations team. Please allow a few days for our compliance officer to verify all of your dealer’s documents and ensure all federal laws are being observed. You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.
That’s it! We try to make this process as simple as possible for our customers, but if you are unfamiliar the process or have any other questions, please visit our How to Buy a Suppressor page for more details.
