Thunder Beast Magnus CB .30 Cal Suppressor - Black

Thunder Beast has been known for years as leaders in lightweight, high performance silencers. They now bring their next generation to discerning shooters looking for an accurate, repeatable magnum suppressor that is still light enough to use on a full spectrum of modern small arms. Whether the host is a 5.5" .300 Blackout, 10.3" MK18, precision .300 Norma Mag, or anything in between the Magnum CB will handle it. Using TBAC's classic CB taper mount found on the popular Ultra series keeps things simple with impressive point of impact repeatability and without the need for secondary retention mechanisms (not rated for full auto fire). This full titanium silencer has a fully 360-degree welded baffle stack and is finished in black High-Temp Cerakote while the CB mounts are black Ionbond DLC coated.

FEATURES

  • Full size and only 15 ounces
  • Fantastic sound reduction
  • Handles military grade sniper rifle:  up to .300 Norma
  • Designed for the long range precision shooter
  • Common CB mounts for compatibility with legacy TBAC suppressors

Ultra-Light, High Performance Suppression

When it comes to finding the perfect suppressor, the Thunder Beast Magnus offers top of the pack performance. This giant of black suppressor is one of the lightest in the market, weighing under 15 ounces, yet boasting a full 9" with 1.8" in diameter.  WOW!  (That's what she said).  The Magnus is designed to be attached to a full spectrum of rifles. Its weight does not compromise its potency or sound suppression capability. Be it a 5.5" .300 Blackout or a 10.3" MK18, this powerful suppressor is capable of handling a wide range of firearms, making it a versatile accessory for any shooter.

Designed for Precision

The TBAC Magnus is not just about raw suppression. It is designed with precision shooting in mind. Its full titanium body ensures high durability and exceptional performance while being lightweight. The 360-degree welded baffle stack and the classic CB taper mount offer impressive point of impact repeatability, essential for long-range, big-bore shooting. With the Magnus, you can be confident about hitting your target every time.

Solid Decibel Reduction

When it comes to sound suppression, the Thunder Beast Magnus CB stands tall among industry leaders. The silencer is rated up to 300 Norma mag, ensuring that it delivers one of the quietest shooting experiences. Even when used with a 6.5 Creedmoor, it produces under 112dB at the ear, making it a top choice for shooters looking for one of the best .30 caliber suppressors.

FAQ's

QUESTION:  Is the CB the only mount available with the TBAC MAGNUS?

  • ANSWER:  No, the MAGNUS is offered in a Hub mount and also their new SR mount.  This product page is only for the CB mount, which is a legacy propriety mount from Thunder Beast.

QUESTION:  Is the MAGNUS the quietest suppressor in .30 caliber?

  • ANSWER:  It is certainly one of the most quiet.  Sound suppression is measured by different standards.  Thunder Beast uses one standard, called the Pulse monitor.  Based upon that standard, it is at or near the top in performance.  The other standard is used by Pew Science and measures sound performance at different locations.   At the time of this writing, we do not have any independent testing from Pew Science, and Pew Science has tested a number of other quiet cans.  So, it is hard to judge, but we may be asking how many angels dance on the head of a pin.  Laboratory results aside, this is the quietest suppressor made by Thunder Beast, and TBAC has been making some pretty quiet cans for a while now, so we at Charlie's Custom Clones do not think you will be disappointed choosing the Magnus.

QUESTION:  Why is the MAGNUS so big?

  • ANSWER:  Well, design of suppressors and the baffles inside is a subject in and of itself.  But, a larger volume will help in making for a quieter suppressor, all other things held equal.  While big, the weight comes in under one pound, so looks may be deceiving.

QUESTION:  Is this suppressor rated for large caliber sniper rifles?

  • ANSWER:  The Thunder Beast MAGNUS is rated up to .300 Norma Magnum, which is the new military standard in the US for sniper rifles.

QUESTION:  What is the MAGNUS made out of?

  • ANSWER:  The TBAC MAGNUS is manufactured in Titanium, which is a very light, but very strong metal, which can withstand very high temperatures.

  3.        Be patient! You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.

THIS IS A SERIALIZED ITEM.  It must ship to a Federal Firearms License holder.  No civilian exceptions.

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. Only a federally licensed firearms dealer may receive a firearm or federally regulated serialized item (like a receiver or suppressor). We cannot ship these items directly to you. Please follow these steps to process your transaction:

1)     Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state. Your FFL dealer should be able to give you all of the necessary information regarding your state specific laws. But, if we ship to your FFL, and there is a legal issue, we cannot accept a return. So please make sure that you know and follow your local and state laws.

2)     A quick google search will show you what Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealers are in your area. When you are ready to purchase, contact the FFL dealer you would like to use and get their shipping address. During the check-out, put YOUR address in the “billing” section and the FFL DEALER’S address in the “shipping” section. If you don’t know your FFLs address, that’s okay. You can send the information later.

3)     After check out, make sure to contact your FFL dealer to ensure they will receive your shipment for you (most do this for a small fee, but you should always double check).

4)     Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL to FFL@CharliesCustomClones.com. Charlie’s does not reach to your FFL (MAKE THEM EARN THEIR FEE!!!)

5)     Be patient! In order to ensure we remain compliant with all federal laws, our compliance department is kept separate from our sales and operations team. Please allow a few days for our compliance officer to verify all of your dealer’s documents and ensure all federal laws are being observed. You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.

That’s it! We try to make this process as simple as possible for our customers, but if you are unfamiliar the process or have any other questions, please visit our How to Buy a Suppressor page for more details.
