Knights Armament (KAC)
The current-production Knight's Armament M4A1 / M16A4 vertical grip, CAGE-code marked — the issue VFG for SOPMOD Block 1 and Mk18 Mod 0 builds.

The Knight's Armament vertical foregrip is a small part with a surprisingly clear generational history, and on a clone-correct build the generation matters. KAC VFGs have shipped in three distinct markings. First generation — roughly 1998 to 2003 — carried a "Vero Beach" roll mark from KAC's original Florida plant. Second generation — 2004 through the next seven to ten years — dropped the city and carried only the Knight's Armament name and logo. The current third generation adds the KAC CAGE code alongside the logo and the Titusville, FL plant mark. All three are genuine KAC, but a Block 1 or Mk18 Mod 0 clone built to a specific era should match the VFG generation to the rest of the build.
This listing is the current-production unit — CAGE-code marked, KAC-logoed, made at the Titusville plant. The grip clamps to KAC's M4 RAS and M5 RAS quad-rail handguards and is the grip the Marine Corps, Army, and SOCOM fielded across the M16A4, the M4 Block 1 SOPMOD, and the Mk18 Mod 0 CQBR. Knight's also licensed production to P&S Products and PAT over the years, and those contract-made units are functionally identical and turn up on issue rifles.

If you are building a period-correct Vero Beach- or early-logo-marked clone, check the dates against your reference photos — this current-production grip is correct for a post-2014 build and for a generic Block 1 / Mk18 reference. For a budget-friendly contract-made alternative, we also stock the mil-spec contract VFG from P&S Products and KAT.
We keep these on the shelf when KAC's production schedule allows. Order yours today — we'll get it out the door fast.
