The Mil-XT reticle has excited shooters in the ultra long range (7-35X), and now in the mid-range. The 4-16X with Mil-XT now features a sleek 42mm objective to keep a low profile and make the most of modern semi-auto platforms. Digillum provides an advancement in illuminated reticles.

This scope is one of our best sellers in the mid-magnification range, as it provides a nice balance of compactness, clarity of image, superb hold-over reticle capabilities and first focal plane milRAD optics.  Oh, did we mention that you can throw it down into a rock quarry, and pick it up and use it?  LOL. 

The MIL-XT™ has a simple center dot for a fine aiming point at center, while the main lines feature .2 Mil-Radian holds. Each whole Mil-Radian is numbered for fast reference under even stressful conditions. 

Below center, whole Mil-Radian intersections feature a floating dot. Dots are placed at .2 Mil-Radian increments, while whole Mil-Radians are increased in size for fast counting. Additional marks are placed at half Mil-Radian increments as well. Numbers below center alternate in size for easy counting and verification of appropriate hold points.

The ATACR in 4-16x is a great mid-range scope, and hits the targets that most of us shoot.  Perfect for 50 to 900 yards.  The 42mm objective lens helps to provide a compact and lighter weight scope, where treking into the wild or from target to target is important.  the Mil-XT reticle has become a favorite of many in the PRS competition, as it easily provides hold-overs for movement from target to target, while providing a clear picture of the target.  Some Christmas tree hold over reticles become just too busy.  The Mil-XT generally provides a good balance and a clean image.
