With a 6X magnification range, this optic is capable from up close to extended range. Easy push button illumination lets the shooter engage targets in any lighting condition. To preserve batteries, Leupold incorporates Motion Sensor Technology to turn on the illumination after a period of sleep when it senses no movement. An electronic reticle level is also built in to assist longer range shots. The low-profile design also keeps the optic compact. This model features Leupold's two revolution zero stop turret and the Custom Dial System. The security of a locking dial and the ease of quick elevation adjustments allow the shooter to make precise aiming corrections. The Custom Dial System also permits new turrets to be installed which are laser engraved with the user's ballistic data making longer range hits faster and simpler. And when time just doesn't allow for cranking knobs, the illuminated CMR2 reticle provides quick holdovers.
