Knights Armament (KAC) M4 RAS, "CAGE Code" 6-rib rail cover, Black

Knights Armament (KAC) 6 Rib RAS Rail Panel, BLK

KAC's iconic Ribbed Rail Panels have seen use all over the globe on US military M4 Carbines. The lightweight polymer panels are ribbed for an enhanced grip, and help insulate the support hand from barrel heat. While originally designed for use on the KAC M4 RIS and M4 RAS rails, these panels are also compatible with many other railed handguards.

The CAGE code gives this item its age, so to speak.  To the cloners, a KAC rail or rail cover can be as unique as a fine bottle of wine.  The CAGE code became mandatory in 2018, and is used today, so we know that this is current production and used from somewhere slightly before 2018 to present.
