The Daniel Defense 16" Government profile barrel with factory-installed front sight base is a Cold Hammer Forged (CHF), mid-length gas barrel for builders who want a fixed front sight without the gunsmithing. The FSB is located and taper-pinned at DD's Black Creek, Georgia plant—no drilling, no pinning, no alignment work.
