This is Colt issued, taken off a Colt mil-spec carbine. Colt does not make the most of their stocks, P&S Products does. All Colt rifles with waffle stock are made by P&S / Provident American.
for basic AR15, or for mil-spec M4A1 clone build, this is the real deal. This model includes the sling loop at the bottom rear. Made by Provident American for decades, PAT (Provident American Technologies) is the successor company to P&S Products. Provident American continues to manufacture many OEM items for brands like Colt, FN, LMT, Knights Armament, and other defense providers, as well as selling their own products to DOD.
Availability Note: This is a contract made part. Colt has stopped having their CAGE code marked on these stocks in late 2022. If we see more, we will add to inventory. In late 2022 / 2023, Colt rifles are delivered with the P&S Products / Provident American model without the Colt CAGE code. So, what you will see, new on Colt rifles is the parent of P&S, Provident American CAGE code (8FW25). This is 100% the same product, as Provident American has been making this product for Colt and many other military contract rifles.
Charlie's believes that Colt no longer attaches their CAGE code, as Colt contract for M4 rifles ended prior to 2022, and any new M4 stocks delivered to the US Military will have the 8FW25 CAGE code.
