This buffer tube is great for any clone or AR-15 build where you are looking for something solid and different. This authentic Colt buffer tube gives you solid forged Colt quality, not an extruded cheap tube. Yet, it provides hard to beat uniqueness with the anodize green color.

The four position buffer tube is trademark protected, and is made of hardened 7075 aluminum forgings and then cut to exacting standards to hold the weight of the stock and gun in battle. This is an original anodizing in OD Green, not a Cerakote. The dry film lubricant is applied to the buffer tube, which creates a semi-permanent application of solid lubricant for maximum wear resistance. The lubricant is called durable solid lubricant, or DSL, which is a military standard, which guards against dust and sand and mud and reduces the need to add a liquid lubricant.

Note that anodizing colors other than black results in slight differences for each batch. This green is a lighter green and has some gold colors in it as well. Also, showing greens and golds and FDE colors are very difficult to do online, as monitors show white balance differently.
