CGS Hyperion K 7.62 Silencer

Compact, quiet, and ultralight

Superior Sound Suppression Technology

Discover the CGS Hyperion K 7.62 Silencer, clearly on the cutting-edge of silencer technology. Designed with a distinctive 'Varying Core Diameter,' this compact suppressor offers sound suppression on a par with leading full-size silencers, delivering a shooting experience that's both comfortable and discreet.  The innovative suppressor minimizes flash as well as back-pressure, while achieving superior sound reduction, making it an excellent choice for shooting enthusiasts who value discretion and accuracy with a short and lightweight footprint.

Impressive Design and Superior Durability

The Hyperion K 7.62 Suppressor looks great, sounds great and is extremely durable. CGS is one of the pioneers in the suppressor industry, utilizing cutting edge technology to deliver solid products.  The Hyperion K is fabricated with DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintered) heat-treated Grade 5 Titanium.  The silencer boasts of superior durability. Thanks to the no-weld design, crafted layer by layer, common design and construction flaws found in traditional subtractive manufacturing are voided. Coated both inside and out, it's armed to reduce fouling build-up and reduce sparking. The internal surfaces have been coated with S Line or Hexagonal Boron Nitride to keep fouling down.  Experience the luxury of a lightweight yet exceptionally durable silencer that's designed to last.

Easy Installation and Versatile Compatibility

The CGS Hyperion K 7.62 Silencer shines in its flexibility. Its integrated taper mount and universal thread pitch (5/8"-24) make installation a breeze on tapered shoulder barrels. The Hyperion K's overbore design reduces back pressure, allowing compatibility with any caliber up to .300 Norma Magnum.  For 7.62 rifles with a 5/8-24 thread pattern, you have the option of installing with the direct thread.  But, for an even better fit, the interior of the suppressor at the threads is tapered, allowing the use of the CGS Hyperion tapered muzzle device.  At Charlie's we are not quite sure why a shooter would opt for the direct thread, when the taper is available, but CGS gives you that choice.  You're not just buying a silencer; you're investing in an all-round solution to enhance your shooting prowess and protect your hearing.  We do not think you can make a bad choice with any CGS product, and the Hyperion K is no exception.

Charlie's is a corporate sponsor of Pew Science, an independent lab that tests suppressors.  We support Pew Science, and look for leading test results that are objective.  Charlie's sells a variety of suppressors, and Pew Science tests a number of suppressors, so neither us, nor Pew Science really has a reason to be biased toward or against any brand.  Pew Science has done testing of the Hyperion 762-K suppressor, and the results show that the Surefire RC2 762 most resembles the Hyperion K.  This is impressive, given the size and weight difference in the Surefire suppressor.  The Hyperion K outperformed the Omega 300 and Sandman S, with much lower back-pressure.

Check out the Pew Science testing on the Hyperion K's performance, which is comparable to the titanium version.  The following is a quote from Pew Science testing:

"The CGS Hyperion K is quieter than many compact to mid-size 30 caliber centerfire rifle silencers shown in public PEW Science supersonic testing, to date, by a significant margin."

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. This item must ship to FFL holder. No civilian exceptions.

        1)  Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state.

        2)  Find your FFL… Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL and SOT to Charlie’s (Make them earn their fee!). Not every FFL is a SOT or Class 2 / Class 3 dealer.

        3)  Be patient! You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.

That’s it! We try to make this process as simple as possible for our customers. Please click the “Buying a Firearm” tab at the top of this page for more information.

THIS IS A SERIALIZED ITEM.  It must ship to a Federal Firearms License holder.  No civilian exceptions.

Buying and shipping through Charlie’s is easy, but there is some information you need to know. Only a federally licensed firearms dealer may receive a firearm or federally regulated serialized item (like a receiver or suppressor). We cannot ship these items directly to you. Please follow these steps to process your transaction:

1)     Check your state laws to make sure the federally regulated item you want to purchase is legal in your state. Your FFL dealer should be able to give you all of the necessary information regarding your state specific laws. But, if we ship to your FFL, and there is a legal issue, we cannot accept a return. So please make sure that you know and follow your local and state laws.

2)     A quick google search will show you what Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealers are in your area. When you are ready to purchase, contact the FFL dealer you would like to use and get their shipping address. During the check-out, put YOUR address in the “billing” section and the FFL DEALER’S address in the “shipping” section. If you don’t know your FFLs address, that’s okay. You can send the information later.

3)     After check out, make sure to contact your FFL dealer to ensure they will receive your shipment for you (most do this for a small fee, but you should always double check).

4)     Have your dealer send us a copy of their FFL to FFL@CharliesCustomClones.com. Charlie’s does not reach to your FFL (MAKE THEM EARN THEIR FEE!!!)

5)     Be patient! In order to ensure we remain compliant with all federal laws, our compliance department is kept separate from our sales and operations team. Please allow a few days for our compliance officer to verify all of your dealer’s documents and ensure all federal laws are being observed. You should hear from our compliance department within 3-4 business days. If not, feel free to reach out for a status update.

That’s it! We try to make this process as simple as possible for our customers, but if you are unfamiliar the process or have any other questions, please visit our How to Buy a Suppressor page for more details.
