The Falcon Lite bipod is the result of an extensive product development project for a military unit. Their snipers were in need of a light bipod, solid, stable and featuring both a panning and canting capability. At less than 15 ounces, the Falcon Lite features a quick-detach (QD) Picatinny mount, a tensioning lever, telescopic aluminum tube legs and modular feet attachments. This bipod has a very wide footprint spread and some of the tightest machining tolerances on the market making it the most stable lightweight bipod you'll find. The modular locking feet attachments are a must to adapt to any shooting surfaces.
The Falcon Lite Bipod is perfect for mid-weight rifles, like the CDX-30 in .300 WM or .338 Lapua where a more stable platform is needed that normal rifle bipods (like the Harris or Atlas), but the heavy-duty Falcon is maybe a little too much. Also great for weight sensitive applications, like hunting and tactical environments.
Note: There are two Falcon Lite Bipods. The Gen 2 Lite and the Gen 2 Lite SP. This is the larger of the two, and offers more options to cant and rotate. The SP is a little smaller and has a single pivot and a smaller, more compact design. The SP is specifically designed with the PRS shooter in mind. The Gen 2 Lite is designed for the shooter wanting a little more flexibility in the deployment of the bipod.
