ARC-Fire Trigger V2 – Ambi Kit (0°–90°–180°)

The Active Safety Designs ARC-Fire is a three-position Forced Reset Trigger (FRT) system for the AR-15, combining conventional semiautomatic operation with mechanically assisted trigger reset. Its Active Reset Clutch technology returns the trigger forward after each shot, allowing faster follow-up shots without converting the rifle to automatic fire.

With ambidextrous controls and a familiar 0°–90°–180° selector arrangement, the ARC-Fire brings an entirely different capability to the traditional AR fire-control system.

Not Your Grandfather's Three-Position Selector

The original M16 introduced American shooters to the familiar three-position selector. The ARC-Fire borrows that control philosophy but puts a modern forced reset mechanism behind it.

In Semi, the rifle operates conventionally. Rotate into ARC, and the system actively drives the trigger forward following each shot. The shooter still performs a separate trigger action for every round fired. This is the distinction between an FRT and a conventional automatic-fire mechanism.

And no, it's not a binary trigger, either. There is no second shot on trigger release.  Is the ASD ARC Fire V2 a super-safety or an FRT?  It depends upon who you ask. AS Designs gives it its own category: an Active Reset Clutch selector system that integrates with your existing trigger group rather than replacing it with a cassette. The result is the same family of performance — mechanically forced reset, one round per trigger function — with ambidextrous control built in.

Whatever you call it, it is fun to shoot with. It will work in your AR15 rifle, making a clone M4A1 sing, or the MP5 (with an AR trigger lower), which is equally as fun !!!!
