This LMT is an upgrade from the standard M4s offered by other companies due to their higher quality components. LMT uses cryogenically treated, chrome-lined Chrome Moly Vanadium 1:7 twist barrels. The upper is the "Billboard" style with an M4 profile barrel, RAS handguard, three rail covers, Mil-Spec charging handle, and an A2 flash hider. The carbine length gas system is topped a fixed A2 front sight base that pairs with the included Matech style rear sight. A bolt carrier group is included.

The factory 14.5" upper receiver has been customized by Charlie's as we have added the military grade RAS Quad rail.  LMT has built and assemble the barreled upper receiver, using an LMT receiver and LMT M4 profile barrel.

Charlie's gives you the option of a Knights Armament or a military contract PAT RAS Rail and covers.  The rail and rail covers are identical, as both are military grade and military contract.  You might recognize the P&S Products Name.  PAT is the parent company of P&S Products.  Some like the KAC name and are willing to pay a little extra, others want the functionality and look, and savings that PAT - Prudent American Technologies gives you.  Also, while this package does not include the forward vertical grip, you can add a military contract VFG here.

NOTE: This 14.5" barrel model is available pinned and welded with a longer muzzle device by Charlie's at an additional cost. If you wish to use this option, you should purchase the muzzle device of your choosing, and add the pin and weld service here and make a note in the comment field when ordering. Charlie's carries a wide variety of Surefire mounts that would be very appropriate for a good Mk18 build.  Without being pinned and welded to 16", this upper may only be used as a pistol or registered as a regulated SBR

Optional: Add a CQD side sling mount, and ask us to change one 11-rib rail for a shorter rail cover (to allow the fit of the sling mount). Add an LMT Mk18 lower receiver.
