Why do we look before we cross the street? Because the few moments it takes to check can save us from disaster. The same common sense can be applied to your equipment.

HUXWRX Alignment Rods are precision tools essential for ensuring the correct alignment of suppressors in firearms. Designed for accuracy, these rods are crucial in verifying suppressor alignment, impacting overall firearm safety and performance.

Misaligned suppressors can significantly affect a firearm's accuracy and safety, potentially leading to dangerous scenarios. Without proper alignment tools, you risk damaging your firearm or suppressor, leading to costly repairs and compromised safety.

Alignment rods offer a reliable and straightforward solution, ensuring your suppressor alignment is accurate, enhancing both safety and performance.

Features and Benefits:

  • Made of carbon fiber tube (strong, durable, straight)
  • Green end makes visual checking even easier
  • Straightness held to .003"
  • Long rods facilitate thorough and accurate alignment checks
  • Will not bend with normal useage
  • Bore safe:  Will not damage barrel or the suppressor
  • Variety of sizes available, compatible with a wide range of calibers, including, .338, .308, and .223
  • Extremely price competitive

HUXWRX Alignment Rods stand out for their precision engineering and compatibility with various suppressor types. The rods are an educational tool as much as a practical one, allowing users to understand and rectify alignment issues independently. This not only ensures the correct functioning of your firearm but also educates on the intricacies of firearm maintenance.

The alignment rods are meticulously crafted, focusing on precision and durability. Made from carbon fiber, these rods are indispensable in any gun enthusiast’s toolkit, offering versatility across a range of firearms:

  • .338 Caliber Rod: Perfect for the new 8.6 Blackout as well as .338 Lapua and .338 Norma.
  • .308 Caliber Rod: Suitable for a wide array of calibers including .308 Winchester, .300 Blackout, .30-06, and many more within the .308 range.
  • .223 Caliber Rod: Designed for .223 Remington, 5.56 NATO, 5.7X28, and other related calibers.

Q&A:

Why do I need a suppressor alignment rod?

Proper suppressor alignment is an absolutely essential aspect of suppressor safety. Failure to align your suppressor correctly with your firearm's barrel and chamber can lead to damage to the gun or can at best and injury to the shooter at the worst. Suppressor Bore Alignment Rods will ensure proper concentricity along the bullet flight path when firing suppressed on a new platform. A suppressor alignment rod closely represents the bullet flight path and will show any misalignment, if present. It is highly recommended to check suppressor alignment each time the suppressor is mounted to your firearm; especially if it has a non-tapered thread system.

How Carbon Fiber Rods Are Made?

Carbon fiber rods are manufactured by pulling continuous carbon fibers mixed with epoxy resin through heated forming dies, a process known as pultrusion. Pultrusion is similar to the extrusion process used with aluminum and thermoplastic. Through this process, continuous lengths of carbon fiber rods with constant cross-sections can be created, and they take on the shape of the die. As the carbon fibers are pulled through the die and saturated with epoxy resin, the heat from the die begins the resin-hardening, or polymerization, process.

The advantages to using pultrusion to create carbon fiber rods include:

  • High axial strength and stiffness
  • Straight and parallel fiber alignment
  • Tightly controlled cross-section dimensions
  • Smooth surface

How to choose a stainless or carbon fiber rod

Choosing an alignment rod is really more about personal preference than function between the two materials. The biggest difference between the carbon fiber rods over the stainless-steel rods is that stainless steel can be re-straightened if it becomes bent during misuse, whereas carbon fiber cannot. That being said, carbon fiber is much more resistant to bending than stainless steel in the first place. The carbon fiber is less expensive only due to the difference in material cost.
