Noveske needs no introduction. Years of high quality production speaks for itself. What gets extra exciting is when Noveske works with other top tier designers. Recently, Noveske teamed up with Slade Cutrer and Irregular Defense on a suppressor optimized 11.5" rifle. Part of this system as designed is the use of a CGS Group SCI-Six silencer on a left hand threaded 1x16 taper mount. This thread pitch was proprietary until now. Before, only CGS and CAT used muzzle devices compatible with this pitch. In a move that benefits the whole industry, CAT has open sourced the specifications to their mounts. Noveske has jumped on board to produce a flash hider compatible with the 1x16 LH specs.
Made here in the US with domestically sourced, black nitride finished 4140 QT steel, the Pig Pen flash hider is available in two lengths for both 1/2x28 and 5/8x24. The short length provides the most compact package while the long version gives the 16" minimum non-NFA length when a pin and weld is required on a 14.5" barrel.
This is a closed tine device which is useful to prevent snagging when moving through cluttered environments such as dense foliage. A closed bottom helps to reduce dust, snow, or debris from being kicked up when firing prone.
