The Flaming Pig has been a hallmark of Noveske for a decade. Why? Not sure, but when it comes to pushing that blast concussion forward, the Noveske KX3 was the first of its kind, and is still a favorite. The KX3 "Pig" is unique in that it is two parts, and comes apart for cleaning. The two part design allows for maximum forward momentum of the sound blast. This is not a suppressor. Some might call it a loudencer, as the noise is very intense. But, the intensity of the sound and blast concussion is pushed forward toward the target, and away from teammates to your left and right.
The Noveske KX3 Flash Hider is designed to increase reliability in short barreled AR-15 weapons by increasing back pressure. The KX3 directs the muzzle blast forward of the shooter, which alleviates most of the discomfort when firing an M4 or AR15 or Modern Sporting Rifle with an abbreviated barrel. The KX3 is made of chrome moly steel that is heat-treated for further durability, using CM construction. The entire assembly is then black nitride finished for corrosion resistance and individually serialized for quality control. Although originally designed for short barreled AR-15's the Noveske KX3 will work on any barrel length.
In addition to pushing concussion forward, the KX3 does a superior job at flash reduction, and creates a small amount of back pressure, which is helpful with tuning short barreled rifles.
