Mk12 gas block - NAVSPEC design for the Mk12 and Mk18 rifles

The Mk 12 SPR Gas block is identical to Crane manufactured Gas Manifold for the NAVSPEC Mk 12 Mod 1 SPR and Mk 18 RIS-II upper receivers. Machined from heat treated CMV tool steel and  and black phosphate treated

This gas block is made by Potomac Armory, and the design and construction quality mirrors that designed by NSWC Crane and currently also produced by Daniel Defense and Badger Ordinance.  If you have a Mk12 SPR rifle, Mod 1 or Mod H, or Mk18 Mod 1 rifle or CQBR upper, any of these Mk12 gas blocks will suit your needs.  Potomac makes a great many solid military products that Charlie's uses in our builds.  Daniel Defense has a better retail package, and Badger has been making the Mk12 gas block from the beginning.  Once the gas block is installed, and the retail packaging is thrown away, all three of these gas blocks are identical is size, look and performance.

Note: These are press fit with two set screws on the bottom.  They are not drilled and pinned.

Included is a premium stainless coiled roll pin for easy installation. 

When installed with the Mk18 RIS-II rail, there is a very nice even spacing on the underside for the bottom of the Mk12 gas block.

Note:  Installation should be done with Red, High Temp Loctite.
