The Potomac Armory suppressor index pin is a precision component for aligning suppressors on M110 and MK11 rifles, including the M110 EEC, C, and K models. Inserted into the gas block, it serves as a fixed reference point for suppressor placement.
Platform Specific Placement
For the M110, the index pin is installed at the 6:00 position on the gas block. In contrast, the Mk11 uses a 7:00 placement, reflecting the design evolution of these rifles. Early Mk11 models relied on a roll pin for suppressor alignment, but the introduction of this engineered T-pin has standardized installation and improved consistency. SR-25 Carbines—specifically the EC, EMC, and ECC variants—employ a two-pin system at the bottom of the gas block for increased stability.
Compatibility
This index pin is compatible with both Potomac Armory and Knights Armament gas blocks and works seamlessly with both Knights Armament authentic suppressors and with Griffin and Potomac Armory clone suppressors, ensuring proper alignment and reliable performance across multiple platforms.
