Geissele features a Mil-Spec in-house machined upper receiver hard coat anodized in DDC. Geissele believes in engraving top T marks but with no paint, which matches the same style as their rails. This is forged with Type-3 hardcoat anodizing, military grade upper receiver from Geissele.
Note: Geissele uppers have either a forging mark (keyhole, circle, square) or an engraved "G". In rare occurrences, they will have both and we will just include these as engraved "G" models. We give you the option of luck of the draw, or specifically having a G. Geissele runs various production runs, and the forgings come to Geissele, and they do the milling, but the forgings are rather generic until Geissele does their finish work, so the Geissele quality is what you are buying - with your choice of the G or not.
The stripped uppers came to Charlie's and we attached the military grade hardware. If this is a little more expensive than others, keep in mind, this is a complete upper receiver.

Note: The finish on the Geissele DDC uppers is extremely variable. The color varies a bit, and the surface is a little rough. We asked Geissele if maybe these were Cerakoted, and they said no, "all are anodized." In our opinion, they are a little on the rough finish side, but a great addition for your build.
