Every so often, we at Charlie's find ourselves in a situation where we just cannot find the right adapter, or existing adapters are way expensive. What should be an answer to a simple question: I have a Cadex or Magpul or other bipod with a built-in Picatinny adapter, but my rifle has an ACRA rail all the way down the underside of my rifle's rail or stock. Guess what? There is no easy answer.
So, working with our friends at Potomac Armory and Gray Ops CNC, we put a Picatinny rail section on the GrayOps ARCA bipod clamp, which happens to have a 17s ARMS adapter, and made one. We found one or two with large knobs that just did not meet the aesthetics, and the designer / machinist at GrayOps told us we needed a clamp and not a screw knob, and we looked at the precision work he does, and say, "wow, this is nice. You know at Charlie's, we like to feature great ideas and great craftsmanship, and we like what GrayOps makes.
