The AccuTAC PC4 bipod is designed for precision shooting, offering stability and versatility with options for both Picatinny and ARCA rail heads. Its robust construction and easy adjustability make it ideal for various shooting environments, ensuring reliable performance for precision-focused users.
Stability matters. In a perfect world, all range trips would have an assortment of tables, platforms, benches, bags, and tripods for every scenario. But we live in the real world. Who hasn't shot over a camping backpack or a cheap sandbag. Can it get the job done? Yes. Is it ideal? Far from it. While purpose made bags and free standing tripods are fantastic, they are not always practical for a given application. A rifle mounted bipod ensures the shooter always has a stable platform at hand.
The Accu-Tac PC-4 bipod is a small, quick-detach bipod made from aircraft aluminum that's designed for bolt action guns, precision, target, competition, and airgun shooting. It has four leg positions, five notch height options, and can pan and cant, with each position locked and secured with an adjustable lever. The PC-4 has a closed position width of 4.25 inches and a closed position length of 7.5 inches.
CNC machined from billet 6061 aluminum in the US, Accu-Tac bipods are widely used in both the work and play sides of the shooting world. The PC-4 model, available in both Picatinny QD and ARCA rail, is perfect for tactical or recreational shooting. It is equally at home in PRS and NRL competition. The quick adjust legs can be locked in both 45 and 90 degree positions combined with five height notches to give options when the environment and terrain just doesn't want to cooperate. The sturdy construction also allows the shooter to load the bipod for added control. To adjust the legs, simply pull out on the feet to reach the desired height. The legs are spring loaded to easily retract in for storage. The feet are interchangeable with spikes available separately. Cant is lockable with a lever. Pan is also lockable.
Make the most out of every shooting position using the solid base provided by an Accu-Tac bipod. Charlie's offers both the traditional Picatinny rail head and the ARCA. Pick from the drop-down menu.
The PC4 bipod stands out from other AccuTAC bipods primarily due to its dual compatibility with both Picatinny and ARCA rail heads, providing greater mounting flexibility. While other AccuTAC models may focus on specific rail types, the PC4's versatile head options cater to a wider range of shooting platforms. Additionally, its robust design and fine-tuning capabilities typically offer enhanced stability and precision compared to more general-purpose bipods in the AccuTAC lineup. This makes the PC4 particularly suited for precision shooters requiring adaptable and reliable support.
When compared to leading bipods like the Cadex Falcon, Atlas, and Harris S-BRM, the AccuTAC PC4's standout feature is its dual rail compatibility. The Cadex Falcon also offers robust construction and precision but is generally more stationary with fewer adjustment options. The Atlas bipod is known for its durability and adjustable legs that lock into multiple positions, which enhances flexibility but generally focuses on Picatinny compatibility. Harris S-BRM bipods are exceptionally adaptable and quick to deploy, and are a favorite of militaries around the world, but may not offer the same high-end construction and precision features that go with competitive long range shooting.
The AccuTAC PC4 differentiates itself with a unique blend of versatility (offering both Picatinny and ARCA rail compatibility), robust construction, and precision, making it a versatile option among other high-end precision shooting bipods. This balance of features makes it particularly suitable for shooters requiring adaptability and stability in various environments.
To engage or adjust leg position, simply pull the spring-loaded leg downward to move each leg independently. Leg position can be deployed to 90° or 45°, locking securely into 4 positions. Please keep in mind the cant adjustment lever can be repositioned, DO NOT use a tool to tighten the canting tension.
